Privacy policy

Placeholder — must be reviewed and replaced by the operator's attorney before launch. It describes what the software actually collects.

What we collect

• Account details — name, email address, optional phone number, hashed password.
• Listing content — everything you enter about a vehicle, including photos and the city, state and ZIP you provide. We geocode that location to approximate coordinates so distance search works.
• Messages — the content of inquiries you send to sellers, plus the contact details you choose to include.
• Dealer business details — business name, address, phone and website.
• Technical data — IP address on lead submission, and server logs.

What we share

When you message a seller, your name, email address and any contact details you include are sent to that seller. Listing content, including the city and state, is public. Your exact street address is never published.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. We store Stripe identifiers and payment status only.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing email to buyers who have only contacted a seller.

Retention and control

Listings and messages are retained while your account is open. Contact support@example.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
